AFTER 45 years on the road, a punk band has embarked on their final farewell tour, with Reading one of the venues they will perform at.
The band has been performing across the world since 1977, including shows in North and South Americas, continental Europe, Japan and, of course, the British Isles.
This final tour is the culmination of all those years of travel, of going from continent to continent, nation to nation, city to city, stage to stage.
Fans of the old school punk rock band can relax as they are not disbanding: in future, they will confine themselves to festivals and one-off dates.
On Monday, September 11, The UK Subs will be at Sub89 on Friar Street, and tickets are already on sale. They cost £25.20, including a booking fee.
