POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Reading which left a woman with life-threatening injuries.
It comes after, at around 8.50pm on Wednesday, February 18, a cyclist riding an e-bike was involved in a collision with a pedestrian on Caversham Road, near Great Knollys Street.
The cyclist, who was carrying a blue Deliveroo bag, failed to stop at the scene.
The pedestrian, a woman in her sixties, was left with life-threatening injuries, and remains in hospital undergoing treatment.
Investigating officer PC Jamie Payne of the Roads Policing Unit said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed this collision to please get in contact.
“I am also appealing to anyone who was driving in the area at this time to please check for dash-cam footage that could have captured the collision or the moments leading up to or after it.
