A VENUE in Reading is hosting a double-whammy of tributes in a festive event this week.
Face Bar will welcome Reading’s own answer to the original punk rock proponents, Remones, who bring their boisterous, break-neck sensibilities to Ramones’ catalogue.
They’ll be joined by fellow headliners Painted Bird, a tribute to influential rock icons Siouxsie and the Banshees.
Thrash punk purveyors Zenden Greenpurple will be providing support, and have been described as having “incantatory” sesnsibilities.
The Christmas Punk Double-Cracker comes to Face Bar on Friday, December 20, from 7.30pm.
