EXTRA tickets have been put on sale for Reading Women’s WSL against Arsenal.

The tie, on Wednesday, January 24, is the first time the sides have met since October 2022, and the club expects demands to be high.

Arsenal are currently third in WSL table, having won seven of their 10 games so far.

The club is said to be interested in signing former Reading Women goalie Mary Earps, who won the BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year award, and currently plays for Manchester United.

The match is part of the Continental League Cup, and season ticket holders are entitled to a complimentary seat at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.

However, it is not part of the club’s season ticket allocation, so seat holders will need to reserve their place.

The seats are being held until 5pm on Friday, January 12. Afterwards they will go on sale on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tickets cost £14, £10 for over 65s, £10 for 18-24s, £8 for under 17s and a £6 for under 12s. There is a £2 discount for advance bookings.

Reading FC Women will be back in action sooner than the Arsenal game: they will be taking on Wolverhampton in the FA Women’s Cup at 2pm on Sunday, January 14.

The game, their first since drawing against Crystal Palace on December 17, will take place at the Electrical Services Stadium in Aldershot.
