COMEDIAN Alfie Moore is set to bring his latest stand-up show to Reading’s Town Hall next month.
A Face for Radio explores Alfie’s police stories from his time on the front line as an officer, including those accompanied policing partner, his German shepherd dog, Zeus, as well as exploring topical policing issues, family and getting older.
As well as two decades on the force in roles such as front-line Response, drugs squad, Public Protection Team, Tutor Unit, Neighbourhood Sergeant and Detective Sergeant, Alfie Moore has also starred in his own BBC Radio 4 comedy series, It’s a Fair Cop.
The series begins its ninth season on Monday, May 26th.
Alfie said ahead of the show: “I’m very excited for my return visit to Reading;I know the town is famous for its ‘Three Bs’ industries: beer, bulbs and biscuits–and for me two out of three ain’t bad.”
A Face for Radio comes to Reading Town Hall on Friday, June 13.
