A statement released by the club reads: “Matt is a UEFA A licence coach having done tremendous work at Chelsea, Portsmouth and Leicester City as well as experience at non league level with Westfield FC, coupled with a great professional playing career in Europe”
A representative from the club’s executive committee added: “We were extremely pleased with the way Matt came across in his interview, his level of detail from coaching to analysis as well as his commitment to play progressive football and promoted from within the club.
“These represent the core values of Eversley and California Football Club and we look forward to seeing his hard work play out on the pitch.”
