STARS from the West End musical Bat Out Of Hell will be celebrating the music of Meat Loaf when they visit Reading later this week.

Reading Minster church in St Mary’s Butts is the venue for the first in a new series of candlelight concerts which will include music by The Eagles, Elvis, Fleetwood Mac, and Queen.

The evening will feature some of the artist’s most famous songs including Anything For Love, Bat Out of Hell, Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad, Dead Ringer for Love.

The cast will be accompanied by a rock band, and organisers are hoping the event will be the ultimate tribute.

There are two performances, both from 7.30pm, on Wednesday, August 23, and Thursday, August 24. Doors open at 6.45pm, with a licenced bar available.

Ticket prices vary according to where people are situated in the church, and start from £10.
