A READING arts centre is to host an evening of sketches, speeches, and poems next week.
Lockdown Projections is heading to The Rising Sun with its new show, Lucky Dip.
It showcases the work of its Stories In The Stones project, which it says is a grassroots rehearsal process that provides a platform for young actors and theatre makers to work collaboratively, devising new work in a safe space.
Directed by Rachel Heritage, the works are all new and have been devised by the company: Charlotte Wood, Stella Harvey, Lucy Beech, Victoria Lewska, Liv Wiklund, and Charity Aleksandra.
It takes place at the Silver Street arts venue from 7pm on Thursday, August 31.
Tickets cost £12.62 including a booking fee.
