THE EASTER Bunny is preparing to spring into action at garden centres in Hare Hatch and Spencers Wood.
Dobbies is organising a special Easter Bunny breakfast in its stores, over the Easter weekend.
The event starts on Maundy Thursday, March 28, and continues until Easter Monday, April 1.
It includes a cooked breakfast or roll, with a chocolate crispy cake for a breakfast dessert, following by a visit from the Easter Bunny.
He will help youngsters learn wildflowers and help them plant a miniature wildflower meadow.
The event is aimed at children aged between three and 10, with a dedicated under fives session on the Thursday.
Sarah Murray, who developed Dobbies’ Easter Bunny Breakfast, said: “We’ve got a spring in our step as we launch our Easter Bunny Breakfast, and we’re delighted to be adapting this experience for the first time for families with children under five.
“Our Easter event this year is all themed around wildflowers, which is a lovely way to introduce young gardening fans into ways they can encourage wildlife into their gardens and create a pretty mini wildflower meadow at home.
“With a fun and lively group setting, we hope that families in Reading will have a memorable time with us.”
There is a fee per breakfast, and places should be booked.
