AN EAST Reading restaurant can sell food and alcohol until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays, after permission was granted by Reading Borough Council.
Yo Momoz on Wokingham Road specialises in Indian and Chinese cuisine. It also has a shisha lounge, and a karaoke room for up to 25 people.
As part of its licensing agreement, owners Helenmaa Ltd can also hold live music and karaoke events between 5pm and 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
Alcohol can be sold from 2pm to 11pm the rest of the week.
The firm’s restaurant is on the site of what was the All Stars takeaway and the Home Taste Chinese restaurant.
The council’s licensing department granted the premises application on Saturday, November 18, 2023.
