Police are appealing for witnesses following a dog bite incident in Spencer’s Wood.
The incident occurred on Sunday 15 March 2026 between 11:30 and 11:40 GMT on Lambs Lane, outside a local tractor hire unit. A female victim reported that a dog she encountered bit her on the right ankle, causing a serious injury that tore a chunk of skin.
The dog walker involved is described as a white woman, aged between her mid-60s and early 70s, around 5ft tall with a slight build, wearing a long dark coat. The dog is said to be small and black. Witnesses reported that the woman continued walking without apologising after the bite.
