A SPECIAL stroll around town will walk off some festive calories and unpack the history of the town.
Walk Reading is organising the afternoon event on Sunday, December 17.
Starting at 2pm, it is aimed at people who want to know more about the Ding and its finer qualities.
It will include the origins of some street names, a look at the site of the world’s largest biscuit factory, the architecture of a special church, and what used to stand on the site of The Oracle shopping centre.
