FORGET loaded fries. A dessert parlour based in Reading town centre is hoping you’ll try its spring special instead: Loaded Shakes.

Creams Cafe on the Oxford Road has launched three new milkshakes which are certainly different from the norm.

The Birthday Cake Loaded Shake comprises layers of strawberry sauce, Creams’ homemade vanilla gelato, rainbow cake and sprinkles, drizzled with more sauce and topped with whipped cream.

The Chocolate Salted Caramel Loaded Shake is made with salted caramel gelato blended with double chocolate cookie dough, layered with creams-a-tella sauce and topped with whipped cream and a chunk of triple chocolate brownie.

The third shake is Spiced Cherry. This is a spiced gelato blended with cherries and speculoos crumbled into a thick shake layered with more cherries and sauce, topped with whipped cream and more crumble.

They are available for £7.45 per shake.

Creams has also launched a new range of Frappes. The flavours on the menu are Strawberries & Cream, Caramel, and Coffee.

The cool drinks are made with milk and ice, topped with whipped cream and syrup, and cost £4.45 each.
