A DAY at the races is sure to go with a bang, a crackle, and a pop as Ascot brings back its annual firework spectacular family raceday.
The event, on Saturday, November 4, fuses a day of fun and horseracing with a display will light up the night sky.
Gates open at 10.45am, with the first races at 12.20pm. Throughout the afternoon, there will be a seven-race card as part of the Jumps Season, ending with the Gold Cup Handicap Chase.
Away from the track, there will be a UV disco, and fairground rides. These are free during racing hours and then £1 per ride after 4pm, with proceeds going to charities.
Then, in the evening, there will be a pyro-musical show that will illuminate the night sky with more than 20,000 fireworks launched from the centre of the racecourse.
And there will be food and drink to enjoy throughout the day.
The race day is held in association with the Ascot Round Table.
Tickets for the raceday start from £30 in advance. Queen Anne Enclosure tickets are available at a special rate of just £20 for groups of seven or more, and under 18s are free when accompanied by a full-paying adult.
Fireworks only tickets are also available, at £8, and £6 for ages five to 13.
