Legendary former Reading manager Steve Coppell will return to the town for a Q&A at the Purple Turtle on Sunday, April 27, starting at 5.30pm.
Coppell was manager of the Reading side that won the Championship with a record 106 points in 2006 – and guided the team to an eight place finish in the club’s first ever Premier League season in 2006-2007.
He will look back on his time at Reading during a Q&A and the audience will have an opportunity to ask him questions and meet him.
Tickets are selling quickly for the event, with a maximum of 85 tickets available. Meet and greet tickets have already sold out.
Three of Coppell’s players during his time at Reading – Glen Little, Leroy Lita and Nicky Shorey – will be at the Purple Turtle for a Q&A on Sunday, February 23, with a 5.30pm start.
The Purple Turtle is hosting other Q&A events next year with former Reading players, including Alex Pearce, Simon Church, Jamie Cureton and Nicky Forster next year.
The events follow on from three Q&As with former Reading stars Nicky Shorey, Adam Le Fondre and Jem Karacan at the Purple Turtle in November.
Early bird tickets for the above events are available at £10 each.
