A SHOW in Reading’s Purple Turtle saw a guest appearance from one of its own rising musicians.
Danny Lampo made a guest appearance at Kay Bryn’s show on Sunday, May 19, hot on the heels of a new single.
Kay Bryn brought his show, Live in Concert, to the Purple Turtle, where he was joined by Lampo as well as Article Wan, Adwoa Safoa, and Yaw Bossman.
His latest single, “Where The Money Dey,” released on Sunday, May 12, and features Ghanaian rap artist Medikal
Lampo, while born in Italy, is of Ghanaian descent, recent appearances at Reading Pride, mixing his multiple influences since 2018.
His first studio album, African Queen, was released in February last year, featuring collaborations with Rashelle Blue, SWK, Star Vicy, Dahlin Boss, and AJ Safoa.
He’s been recognised by the Ghana Music Awards, where he was crowned as the Best Diaspora Reggae Dancehall Artiste of the Year last year.

Lampo also plays for Reading Tigers FC, a team in the East Berkshire League, where he has been awarded the accolades of Top Goal Scorer and Man of the Match on several occasions during his stint there.
