Cricket round-up: Wokingham 2s lead the league after Binfield victory

Thames Valley Division 1

EVERSLEY dropped down to seventh after they were defeated by second placed Gerrards Cross.

Ben Salter and Eddie Campion both took four wickets for Eversley, but they fell 105 runs short of reaching the 309 target after they were all out after 44 overs.

Thames Valley Division 2B

WOKINGHAM 2s are the new league leaders after their five wicket win over BINFIELD.

Binfield scored 191 from 51 overs, while Myles collected four wickets for the Oaks.

69 runs from S Khalid saw Wokingham over the line with five wickets to spare after 28.2 overs.

 

READING are in third after they earned a convincing 112-run win over second placed Cove.

Reading scored 180 runs from 48.1 overs and then skittled Cove all out on 68.

 

FINCHAMPSTEAD 2s are in fifth after they picked up a 101 run victory over Sulhamstead & Ufton.

Eldritch scored a century, while six wickets from O’Donoghue saw Finch take a comfortable win.

Thames Valley Division 3A

SONNING are top of the table after they drew to Windsor.

Sonning amassed 312 runs from 52 overs after Mohammed hit 91.

But they couldn’t bowl Windsor all out as they finished on 185-9 from 48 overs which saw the match drawn.

 

WARGRAVE 2s remain in sixth after they lost out by just seven runs to Aldershot.

 

WHITE WALTHAM are down to bottom of the league after they lost by seven wickets to Kidmore End.

Thames Valley Division 4A

WOKINGHAM 3s are in third after they took a one wicket win at Henley 3s.

Pogson took five wickets for the Oaks who totalled 144 in the second innings to collect 25 points.

 

FINCHAMPSTEAD 3s took an away draw at Maidenhead & Bray,

 

Thames Valley Division 5B

READING 2s are in second after they drew with Bagshot 2s.

 

EVERSLEY 2s got the better of SONNING 2s by two wickets.

Eversley chased down 282 to take the game with two wickets to spare.

 

BRACKNELL defeated FINCHAMPSTEAD 4s by eight wickets to keep their place in fourth.

Zeeshan hit 94 not out to see Bracknelll chase down 170 to take the points.
