BCM Championship

SHINFIELD are in third position after they held their nerve to pick up a win in a tense encounter with Penn & Tylers Green.

Shinfield put Penn into bat first and they totted up 183 runs before the hosts had them all out after 42.2 overs.

Devesh Gauchwal collected three wickets for Shifnield, while Shashank Garg and Muhammad Hafeez took two each.

In a closely fought contest, Noel Joseph knocked a half century not out to help guide his team over the line.

Shinfield secured the win with just one wicket in reserve after 45 overs.

EMMBROOK AND BEARWOOD keep their place at the top after a 98-run success away at Balligner Waggoners.

Opening batsman Matt Loxton top scored with 95 as the Bears scored 284 and then limited their opponents to 196 to take the points.

CROWTHORNE & CROWN WOOD stormed to an eight wicket win over Great Kingshill.

A five wicket haul from Martin Vogel saw the Crows bowl Kingshill all out for 82.

Crows dropped just two wickets on their way to sealing the game.

WEST READING took a narrow three-run win at Mortimer West End.

Despite being skittled all out for 97, West Reading managed to defend their total and get Mortimer all out on 94 which included four wickets from Saqib Gulfraz.

Home Counties Division One

FINCHAMPSTEAD climbed off the bottom of the table with an away win at Aston Rowant.

Finch scored 231 in the first innings and then bowled Aston all out for 177 to confirm victory.

Despite a huge first innings total, WARGRAVE had to settle for a draw with Datchet.

Wargrave totalled 325 which included a century from Euan Woods before they declared.

However, Datchet managed to survive on 186-9 from 58 overs to draw the game.

WOKINGHAM drew at home to High Wycombe.

They scored 238-6 from 56 overs and High Wycombe finished with 270-9 from 64 overs.

BCL Premier Division

READING UNITED are the new division leaders after their away win at SANDHURST.

An exceptional seven wicket display from Suman Ganguly had Sandhurst all out for 158 before Reading dropped just three wickets on their way to surpassing the total.

FARLEY HILL closed the gap on CROWTHORNE & CROWN WOOD 2s with a four wicket win.

The result means that Farley are in fourth, while Crows are still in second.

SHINFIELD 2s lost out away at Goring on Thames by 26 runs.

WEST READING remain bottom after their nine wicket defeat to Peppard Stoke Row 2s.

BCL Division One

EARLEY stay in third after their 19-run triumph against Rangers.

Ranvir Rana hit a quick century to see his side onto 268 before Rangers finished on 249.

WALTHAM ST LAWRENCE added 35 points to their total with a huge 183-run over WEST READING 3s.

Waltham put 274 on the board before they bowled West Reading all out for 91.

READING LIONS got the better of Maidenhead Royals with a four wicket win.

Thames Valley Division One

EVERSLEY kept their spot at the top despite only managing draw against Ickenham.

Ickenham put 248 on the board as Ed Campion took four wickets for Eversley.

Eversley ended on 212-9 as the match was drawn despite a score of 82 not out from Kyle Bienefelt.

WOKINGHAM 2s dropped down to the bottom of the table after they lost to Cookham Dean by 13 runs.

Thames Valley Division 2B

BINFIELD are up into second place after they edged past SONNING by one wicket.

Thomas Williams picked up five wickets for Binfield on their way to victory.

READING were held to a draw by Burnham which means they drop down to third position.

FINCHAMPSTEAD 2s remain in eighth after their draw with Sloguh 2s.
