A RESTAURANT in Reading town centre will see its upper floors converted into housing.
Warrant Investments PLC has received permission from Reading Borough Council to undertake the work to the offices above Biryani Mama restaurant in St Mary’s Butts, and its neighbouring space which is currently empty but used to be Ask Italian.
Approval means work can start converting the first and second floors from offices into flats, with each floor containing one one-bed and one two-bed apartment.
Each flat comes with a shower room, with the master bedrooms in the two-bed apartments coming with an ensuite.
The application can be seen by searching Reading Borough Council’s planning website for reference 230659.
