CINEMA chain Cineworld anounced on Friday, August 19, that it has filed for bankruptcy.The chain has struggled to recover from the pandemic, and reported that audience numbers had been weaker than they had expected.The chain posted a loss of £429 million at the end of the last financial year, and has amassed a debt of around £4 billion.More than 100 of its cinemas around the UK are under threat, including a branch in Bracknell.
