A CHARITY cricket match will take place next month in Reading’s Palmer Park.
The event is to celebrate 75 years of Windrush and its legacy.
Teams representing Barbados and the Caribbean will square off against each other.
There will be more than just the action at the crease: DJs, live music, and steel pan drumming are promised. There will be activities for children, as well as food stalls.
Entry is free, although there is a suggested parking contribution of £1.
The event starts at noon, on Sunday, July 16, with the first players going into bat at 1pm.
