THAMES Valley Police has released CCTV images as part of its appeal for information about an incident of assault in Reading last month.
Police have released images of a number of people they would like to speak to following the incident, as they may have vital information which could aid their investigation.
The incident took place at around 11.45pm on Sunday, July 14, when a man in his thirties was assaulted on Friar Street.
The victim suffered a bleed to the brain as well as a cut on his forehead; he was taken to hospital for treatment but has been discharged since.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Beth Daly, based at Reading police station, said: “I am appealing for anyone who recognises the men pictured in these images to please get in touch.
“A man has been seriously injured following an unprovoked attack.
“If you are one of the men pictured then please come forward as soon as possible as we believe you may have vital information about this incident.
“This incident occurred on a busy street in Reading following the Euro 2024 football final, so I am also appealing to anyone who may have any witness information, to also please get in touch.
