FIRE CREWS were called to a burning bin in Upper Basildon earlier this month.
On arrival, they found the blaze had spread to a fence and the side of a house.
Crews were able to put the fire out and then ventilated the area and dampened it down to ensure it was safe.
The incident happened around 9.32pm on Friday, October 13, in Gardeners Lane.
Crews from Caversham Road Fire Station and Whitley Wood Fire Station, along with crews and an Officer from Oxfordshire were on the scene for around 37 minutes.
