BROAD Street Mall is once again set to welcome live music and celebration to usher in the spooky season this autumn.
The mall is continuing its partnership with The Rhoom Studios to bring local and upcoming acts to music lovers and mark Halloween in spook-tacular style.
Attendees will get the chance to take part in a free tote bag decorating workshop with arts charity Jelly, and show off their best fancy dress in the costume competition.
Elsewhere the mall’s mascot Topsy will be making an appearance, with face-painting, a kids disco, and free muffins and Subway treats on offer.
The event will also welcome The Jessica Project and Project Salama, two organisations raising awareness and offering support to survivors of abuse and violence.
Visitors can explore their empowering merchandise and learn more about the vital services they provide.
Broad Street Beats also marks the continued support of Every Little Thing Festival, created by Sinead Gibson in memory of her daughter Diva.
The festival focuses on mental health awareness and suicide prevention; Sinead will be joining the event to share her story and connect with the community.
Steven Connolly, Centre Manager at Broad Street Mall, said: “We’re excited to bring back Broad Street Beats this October, this time with a spooky Halloween twist.
“It’s a fantastic way to celebrate the season with our community–with something for all ages, we’re looking forward to welcoming families and visitors for some free frightfully fun entertainment.”
Broad Street Beats takes place at Broad Street Mall from 11am-3pm on Saturday, October 18.
Attendance is free; more information is available via: broadstreetmall.com
