A BOAT caught fire near Shooters Hill in Pangbourne.
The incident happened at 11.55am on Saturday, September 9, and fire crews from Theale, Caversham Road and Whitley Wood were sent to the scene, alongside crews from Oxfordshire County Council Fire and Rescue Service. The Water Rescue Unit from Caversham Road was also sent.
The crews extinguished the blaze using a single jet, and provided emergency care to two people ahead of South Central Ambulance Service arriving at the scene.
The boat was then moored.
