Law firm Blandy & Blandy, which has offices in Reading, Henley-on-Thames and Wokingham, has been re-accredited with the Lexcel quality mark following a rigorous annual assessment process.
The Lexcel scheme, operated by The Law Society, recognises firms which achieve excellence in legal practice management and client care. Blandy & Blandy has been accredited by Lexcel since 2003 and is among only 20% of law firms in England and Wales to have achieved this standard.
In what was described as “an impressive demonstration” of compliance with the Lexcel standard, Blandy & Blandy achieved an impressive 41 areas of good practice, recognising those areas where the firm has gone above and beyond the high standards set by Lexcel.
The firm was singled out for its strengths in areas including managerial and supervisory proficiency, client care, an effective approach to hybrid and flexible working, marketing and business development, support for local charities and the community.
“The considerable breadth and depth of expertise and experience across its departments” and the firm’s “distinct approachable and supportive culture” were also praised.
Chair and partner, Claire Dyer, said: “This is an excellent result for the firm and a real testament to our colleagues who work so hard to maintain these high standards. Achieving such impressive feedback after a very rigorous process is something to be proud of and it is fantastic to hear that so many of the firms’ strengths have been recognised. Well done all!”
