THE FOOTBALL community came together last week to celebrate the grassroots game in a special awards night hosted at Double Barrelled Brewery in Reading.

More than 150 people turned out to acknowledge the outstanding individuals who contribute to the football scene in Berkshire across the men’s and women’s games.

Hosted by Sky Sports’ Tom White, 16 awards were handed out and medals were presented to all that were shortlisted for an award.
