Ascot Racecourse will host the Big Ascot Food & Wine Festival this Saturday.
The festival will bring with it two days of flat racing and a host of food experiences to round off the summer.
Racegoers can browse a variety of UK food stalls and enjoy cooking demonstrations from Michelin-Starred chefs.
The festival will also feature racing, live music and plenty of food and drink options.
Local produce and local chefs lie at the heart of the Big Ascot Food & Wine Festival. Attendees will be able to enjoy produce from stalls including Borough 22 Bakehouse, Hampton Court Spirits, Tuga Pastries Ltd, The Greek Farmer, Louisa’s Honey Limited, Kimchi With Everything and The Homemade Brownie Company.
The Ascot Stakes, will take place on Saturday with the notable mile and-a-half Heritage Handicap run. This race has previously been won by greats including the particularly memorable Chalk Stream in 2021 for Queen Elizabeth II.
Attendees can enjoy food demonstrations from leading chefs including James Tanner and Paul Ainsworth, as well as pastry chef extraordinaire Sarah Frankland, who will take to the stage alongside host Will Torrent, the Waitrose development chef.
The chefs will speak about their iconic takes on classic dishes which will be on offer to try. Additionally, Farmer Tom will deliver a talk on sustainable farming, explaining how his knowledge and expertise formed a huge part of the planning and execution of the event itself, as well as his wider work and new projects.
