THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to an incident of assault which left a man with serious injuries.
The victim, a man in his forties, was walking along Wokingham Road, Earley, at around 12.45am on Sunday, January 29.
The victim suffered serious injuries including a fractured back, a fractured pelvis, a broken arm, and torn ligaments.
He was taken to hospital for treatment, where he remains.
The exact nature of the incident is still unclear.
PC Benjamin Taylor, based at Loddon Valley police station, said: “We are carrying out a thorough investigation in order to establish the exact circumstances of this incident and would appeal for anyone with information about what happened to please come forward.
“Anyone with CCTV cameras in the area or anyone with a dash-cam who was driving in the area at the time of the incident should check their recordings in case they have captured anything which could help our investigation. You can upload footage to our dedicated online portal.
