THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to an assault which left a man hospitalised in Reading last week.
At around 9.30pm on Saturday, August 24, a man in his sixties approached a group of people in Broad Street.
The man was deliberately tripped up by one of the group, which left him with a broken hip and head trauma.
He remains in hospital undergoing treatment.
The offender has been described as a woman with blonde hair, who was wearing a pale-coloured top and trousers with a small, black bag.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have information to come forward.
