THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witness following a collision which left a man with a broken pelvis in Reading.

At around 12.20pm on Thursday, July 18, a blue Kia Sorento collided with a cyclist at the roundabout of Oxford Road and Overdown Road.

The cyclist, a 73-year-old man riding a black Brompton folding bicycle, suffered a broken pelvis and injuries to his arm.

He was taken to hospital for treatment, and he remains there.

No arrests have yet been made in relation to the incident.

Investigating officer PC Matt Bowden said: “I’d like to appeal to anyone who saw this incident, or who may have seen the cyclist on the Oxford Road before entering the roundabout.
