Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an incident of grievous bodily harm in Mortimer.
At around 5.45pm on Saturday (24/2), the victim, a girl in her teens, was assaulted by a group of girls in the Mortimer playing fields opposite the Horse and Groom pub.
The girls kicked and punched the victim, and dragged her by her hair.
A car then arrived and a young female passenger wearing a white dressing gown got out of the car and attacked the victim, before returning to the vehicle and leaving the scene.
The victim has sustained GBH-level injuries which required hospital treatment. They remain there at this time.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Izzy Denis, said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have seen this incident or who has dash-cam or phone footage from the area around the time that it happened, to please get in touch.
