A SOUTH Reading community group is inviting residents to join them for a spot of tea and entertainment on Friday, November 24, as the festive period draws near.
iCare 2018 Social Club will provide lunch and drinks, with visitors also able to enjoy some light-hearted bingo and live music.
The group offers visitors the ideal opportunity to catch up with loved ones and meet new people over food, cash and prize bingo and hot drinks.
Organiser Emily Roberts said: “We are excited to welcome everyone to our club and build relationships between people in the community.
“We love to support people to socialise and get out of their homes and enjoy being part of the iCare 2018 family.”
The social club is targeted at those who want to get out and socialise with others and helps those who may be feeling lonely, isolated or are just looking for company and fun in their lives.
The event takes place from 12.30pm-4.30pm at Whitley Wood Community Centre, Swallowfield Drive.
