A LOOK at some of the stories Jesus told is coming to Upper Basildon next month.
Members of the Open Bible Trust, including Michael Penny who chairs Churches Together in Reading and Berkshire, will hold an afternoon exploring parables.
These are stories with additional meanings, such as the parable of the lost sheep, which is a Christian allegory.
The session on Saturday, August 20, runs from 2pm to 5.30pm.
The speakers include Peter Mansell, Sylvia Penny, WM Henry, and Andrew Marple.
There is no charge for the afternoon and parking at the church is available.
