AN ADDRESS in Whitley has been placed under a closure order in order to protect residents.
Thames Valley Police has posted to social media that an address in Northumberland Avenue has been placed under a Full Closure Order on Wednesday, January 10.
An FCO is used to prohibit people from entering designated premises when there is evidence or suspicion of disorderly or criminal behaviour associated with the address.
It can last for up to three months.
Police say that the order placed on the address will last for the full three months and has been instated to protect “a number of vulnerable residents” in the area.
