AB Walker Funeral Directors is inviting families, friends and members of the local community to a special Memorial Service at Reading Minster, as part of the company’s bicentenary celebrations in 2026.
The service will take place on Sunday 12 April at 3.00pm, at the Minster Church of St Mary the Virgin, Reading, RG1 2HX. It will be an afternoon of reflection, remembrance and shared memories, bringing people together in support of one another while marking 200 years of service to local families and communities.
The Memorial Service will be conducted by Stephen Pullen, Archdeacon of Berkshire and will feature music from the Arborfield Wives Choir, alongside guest speakers representing the AB Walker family and the wider community. Everyone is welcome to attend, whether you wish to remember someone special, support a friend, or simply take a quiet moment to reflect.
Refreshments will be served after the service, offering an opportunity to gather and connect with others in an informal and supportive setting.
