Visitors can learn what goes on behind the scenes in free guided backstage tours.
There will be information about production management, sound, light, costumes, sets and props.
The Progress Theatre’s open day takes place on Saturday, August 13.
Tours run from noon to 5pm.
The theatre is on The Mount, off Christchurch Road, RG1 5HL.
There will be no parking inside the theatre car park, but on-street parking is a short walk away.
Refreshments will be available from the theatre bar.
No tickets or booking are necessary for this free event, open to all.
