A young child was killed in a minibus crash on Sunday on the M4 near Wokingham, while one child also remains in a critical condition.
The incident took place on the M4 eastbound junction 10 exit slip road onto the A329M near Wokingham where a white Ford Transit minibus overturned. No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
Six children remain in hospital with serious injuries.
Emergency services were called to a slip road between junctions 11 and 8 at around 2:30pm on Sunday, May 11.
The Thames Valley Air Ambulance, police and the South Central Ambulance Service were on the scene as the motorway was closed in both directions.
No arrests have yet to be made.
Detective Sergeant Lyndsey Blackaby, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Firstly, I want to offer my deepest condolences to the family of the child who sadly died in this collision.
“A full investigation has been launched in order to understand what caused the collision.
