A MAN had his foot run over during an assault and robbery in Reading earlier this week.
Police said the driver of a yellow van carried out the attack, in which the victim had a cash and his mobile phone stolen.
It happened at around 8am on Tuesday, April 5, on Reading’s Oxford Road, close to its junction with Lorne Street and near to the parade of shops next to a fuel station and a Tesco Express store.
The victim received minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.
A 37-year-old man from Reading has been arrested on suspicion of assault. He has since been released on conditional bail.
Thames Valley Police’s investigating officer DC Conor Thornton said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has video or dash-cam footage of this, to please get in touch.
“We are especially interested in hearing from the passer-by who we believe recorded part of the incident on their phone.
