THEY are very much part of our lives, so it’s no wonder that we want them to take part in all the big occasions.

A garden centre firm with branches in Hare Hatch and Spencers Wood is once again opening its Santa’s Grotto to dogs.

The special events will let pooches meet Santa, whisper ‘Sausages’ or other festive wishes in his ear, and let him tell them they are a good dog.

They also have a photo and will leave with a pet-friendly toy to open on Christmas Day.

The sessions run on selected days from Saturday, December 2, through to Saturday, December 23, and is £6.99 per pet. Photography is an additional charge, which is lower if pre-booked.

Children can also see Santa for £11.99 per child.

Sarah Murray, who leads Dobbies’ festive events plans, said: “We absolutely love making amazing experiences, and Santa Paws really shows how dedicated we are to that. It’s an occasion to celebrate the joy our pets bring into our lives, and a chance for dog owners and families to create cherished Christmas memories together at our Hare Hatch store.

“We look forward to sharing the magic of Christmas as families come along to Santa Paws.”
