Reading FC goalkeeper Coniah Boyce-Clarke has been rewarded with a call-up to represent Jamaica in the upcoming Copa America tournament.
The 21-year-old shot stopper currently has one international cap to his name and has played five games for Reading’s first-team.
During the 2023/24 campaign, Boyce-Clarke played eight times for Noel Hunt’s under 21s side in Premier League 2 and played two EFL Cup games and one EFL Trophy match for Ruben Selles’ side.
He joins former Royals academy product Michael Hector in the Jamaica squad as well another former Royal in Michail Antonio.
Jamaica are in Group B and will face off against Mexico, Ecuador and Venezuela.
They kick off their campaign on Sunday, June 23 against Mexico followed by Ecuador on Wednesday, June 26 and play their final group game on Monday, July 1 against Venezuela.
