THAMES Valley Police has announced the re-opening of a road in Woodley following a road incident earlier today.
Traffic is now passing under the road bridge by Loddon Bridge Road after emergency services finished work at the scene.
It comes after a bus struck the underside of the bridge, causing considerable damage to the bus, and triggering emergency services to assess the damage to the bridge.
Residents reported a significant response in the area shortly after the incident, and it is not yet known whether anyone was injured in the collision.
TVP said in a statement on social media: “Loddon Bridge Road in Woodley has now re-opened following an earlier road traffic collision.
