A woman in her twenties has been seriously injured following a road traffic collision in Calcot, police have said.
Thames Valley Police said the incident happened at about 18:10 GMT on Thursday on the A4 Bath Road near the Pincents Lane junction, close to a Sainsbury’s supermarket.
The collision involved a black Lexus RX 450H and a pedestrian.
The woman was taken to hospital, where she remains with serious injuries. No arrests have been made.
Investigating officer PC Eden Hamblin, from the force’s Roads Policing Unit, said the crash happened at a time when traffic in the area would have been heavy.
“This is a busy junction, and the collision occurred at a time when there would have been a large amount of traffic in the area,” PC Hamblin said.
“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who has dashcam or other video footage from around the time of the incident, as this could help us build a clearer picture of the circumstances leading up to the collision.
“If you were in the area, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
