THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a sexual assault in Reading.

Sometime between 2.50pm and 3.30pm on Monday, May 12, a woman in her seventies was touched over clothing on the number 13 bus travelling from Reading Train Station towards Woodley.

The offender has been described as an Asian man, aged in his late fifties to early sixties, and was wearing a black turban.

Investigating officer PC Danielle Steeden said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have been on this bus at the time of the incident or saw the offender get off the bus.

“If you have any information that could assist this investigation, please call 101 or make an online report, via our website, quoting 43250233198.

“Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers with 100% anonymity on 0800 555 111.”
