WILD WEATHER Brewery has announced it has cancelled its open day on Saturday, July 16.

The cancellation is the result of the Level 3 heatwave warning issued by the MET office.

A Level 3 Heat Health Alert, also known as an Amber Alert, means that the MET office expects temperatures of over 30° during the weekend, and is warning against the possible health risks of high temperatures.

The brewery said in a post to social media that: “It is with great regret and sadness that we unfortunately have to cancel our brewery open day.

“We have decided that for the safety of our patrons, their families, and ourselves that cancelling is the best option at this time.”They said also that the cancellation does include The Big Day Out, organised by The Weather Station.

Those with tickets to the event are encouraged the contact The Weather Station directly via Instagram.
