They have a meticulous attention to detail and passion for organisation, ensuring wardrobes are beautifully organised and help to provide an inspiring space for clients.

By joining Smart Works as a Wardrobe Volunteer, you can play a transformational role in the lives of local women. They are hosting Wardrobe Volunteer Recruitment Sessions on 11th October, express an interest at the Connect website to find out more.

Tilehurst Junior Youth Club run a youth club for children aged eight to 12, offering a safe and secure environment for young people to enjoy themselves, make new friends and develop their social skills. They are seeking a new Chair Person to lead the management committee.

The Chair Person will take on a range of responsibilities including; chairing of Management Committee Meetings and AGM, assist/Lead in resolution of complaints, disciplinary matters and appeals, ensure compliance with employment, financial, safeguarding, relevant legislation and assist in finding new Trustees.

The Chair person should be self-motivated, well organised, be a good communicator, have good interpersonal skills and the ability to chair a small meeting as well as having an understanding of the needs of children and young people.

The committee meets approximately four times a year, and the role involves regular communication with the club coordinator and the other Trustees – on average a couple of hours a week should be sufficient but there may be some occasions when more time is needed.
