It is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic volunteer to join its office team.
Volunteers would provide additional administrative and promotional support to their projects, such as their social clubs, befriending services, and dementia groups.
It is suitable for those comfortable with using computers.
Tasks will include: taking calls from clients and responding to their issues where possible, documenting information received on their database, supporting the information and advice team, and assisting with admin tasks, among other duties.
Refugee Support Group’s mission is to improve the lives of Refugees and people seeking asylum, providing support, advice, promotion, awareness and facilitating integration for the local community.
They are looking for a friendly individual to be the first point of contact for new and existing clients during their Monday morning drop-ins, which runs from 10.30am-1pm.
Duties will include welcoming and signing in clients, recording confidential information, and ensuring Health and Safety procedures are adhered to.
An ability to maintain professional boundaries is required.
Knowledge of other languages such as: Kurdish, Dari, Pashto, or Arabic is desirable but not essential.
