THAMES Valley Police has said that a road in central Reading is closed following a single-vehicle collision.
Police posted to social media just after 5.30pm on Wednesday, November 15, to announce that Vastern Road would be closed while they respond to a vehicle collision.
Only a single vehicle is said to be involved, but police have asked that residents and motorists avoid the area while they respond.
It is expected to remain closed for around an hour.
The full post reads: “The eastbound carriageway of Vastern Road in Reading town centre is currently closed following a single vehicle collision.
“The carriageway will remain closed for the next hour or so while we deal with the collision so please avoid the area. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.”
