STUDENTS at UTC Reading are joining those around the country collecting their A-Level and Level 3 technical qualification results today.

100% of all grades awarded were at DDD or above in BTEC L3 Extended Diploma in Engineering, and 16% of all A-Level grades were A*-B.

Many students have successfully secured highly sought-after apprenticeships and degree

apprenticeships with leading national employers, including Thames Water and WSP, while others are now set to attend university in Cambridge, Bristol, Bath, Portsmouth, Warwick, and Oxford Brookes.

Headteacher, Jennie Thomson said: “I am incredibly proud of all of our students who are receiving their results today, for the hard work, grit and determination they have shown in their studies over the last two years.

“It is brilliant to see so many of our students feeling proud, and most importantly seeing them move on to excellent destinations, armed with the qualifications and professional attributes they need to thrive in the world of work.
