THE UNIVERSITY of Reading is reaching out to members of the public who are interested in taking part in a study.
Researchers are investigating the effects of pomegranate seed oil on people’s heart health and are looking for postmenopausal women aged 65 and under. Suitable candidates must be non-smokers, healthy, currently not taking hormone replacement therapy (HRT) or any medication to lower blood pressure or cholesterol.
Those who volunteer will be required to undertake a 30-minute screening visit, two day-long study visits and be willing to have blood samples taken. Participants will be reimbursed for their time.
